Here is a image of our group storyboard:
It was important for us to create a storyboard together as a group once we had created our own personal ones so to make sure we were all on the same page, we all agreed on certain aspects of the film and we all understood fully what was happening when and where in regards to the production of our film. This was a good way to go about the final stages of planning our film as it meant we could heck over any new ideas and see if there were any last minute changes we wanted to make to our film.
We all stuck to a very similar order for our storyboards as we had discussed the film through thoroughly prior to creating our own individual storyboards hence we were all along pretty much the same lines. Although there was confusion as to how the scene should end Harry thought that victim Brittany should see the antagonist once they have killed protagonist Carol however both myself and Emma disagreed as we thought that would be putting to much within the opening as we still need to leave a large chunk of the film left for the rest of it if we was to put to much in the opening then the film would be rather dull through the main parts of it and there wouldn't be much room for suspense or tension to build as so much would have happened within the opening that the plot may begin to appear rather ridiculous and unbelievable to some audience members. In the end we decided that the antagonist shouldn't be around for the final scene at all.
Our storyboards where all very similar which was good as it showed that we all had a good understanding of our film and they all connected with each other and all made sense. This was a good opportunity for us to think in depth about the different camera angles we would be using and how we would manage to shot from them. For instance we decided that we would be using a low angle shot within our film and decided that we would have to shot this by someone kneeling down beneath the main scene meaning that this would have to be done on a hand held shot also.
You have provided a minimal analysis of your group’s storyboard, explaining some of what your sequence will consist of and how you hope the audience will react to it.
ReplyDeleteYou need to:
1) Pick one specific example of micro-elements used from each group member’s individual storyboard in the sequence that you feel are the most significant - do a detailed PEER analysis of these, explaining why you have chosen these specific elements, what they create and WHY, how a relationship can be built and WHY they are conventional of the genre.
2) Say what thrillers you, as a group, have taken inspirations from and why - where is this evident in your storyboard?
3) Elaborate on everything
